 MILLENNIUM POEMS                       

                                        

 It is with some sadness and a little   

 relief that we announce the Millennium 

 poem competition has now closed.       

                                        

 Wj have been overwhelmed by the quality

 and the sizj of the response - with    

 mori than 500 entries received.        

                                        

 Teletext will continue to screen the   

 poems - but we cannot accept any new   

 entries. The best are now with top poet

 Roger McGough, who will select the     

 competition winner.
