  Dear Teletext,                        

  Sports Personality of the Year should 

  be renamed Sportsman/Woman of the Year

  as none of the past winners have had  

  anything resembling a personality.    

  TheyWre a bunch of highly overpaid    

  whingers, Colin Jackson the exception.

                                        

  Is sport encroaching upon male        

  chauvinism? Why weren't there any     

  women in the finals?
