 have often pointed out.                

                                        

 Sex'n'Death (BBC2) was an attempt to   

 satirise by drama some current and     

 future trends in TV - exploiting the   

 public, playing crass tricks and       

 performing sick stunts, etc.           

                                        

 Martin Clunes played the host of a     

 shocking TV show - a sad egotistical   

 plonker. As a type he seemed very      

 familiar.
