The closure of Britain's most expensive
school - a rural secondary with one
pupil - has been approved.
Moray council members voted to shut the
secondary school at Tomintoul. It is
attended by sole pupil 13-year-old Karl
Hobbs and costs £105,000 a year to run.
Councillors also agreed to close
Edinvillie primary, near Aberlour, and
Boharm primary, near Keith.
