ELLIS: REPLAY IS THE BEST OUTCOME
Aston Villa chairman Doug Ellis was
reasonably satisfied with the Football
League's decision to order a replay of
the Worthington Cup quarter-final
against West Ham.
Ellis said: "Wj have reluctantly agreed
to the game being replayed at the
original venue (Upton Park).
"We'll go along with it for the good of
the name of football. It is the best
outcome under the conditions."
