 A Staffordshire civil rights lawyer has

 won Human Rights Lawyet of the Year for

 his pioneering work wi hin the ariminal

 justice system.                        

                                        

 Richard nise, 43, was presented wurh   

 the award by the Law Society and civi  

 rights organisation LibCrty.           

                                        

 The Tunstall-based lawyer said: "Ther  

 is still a lot to be done before we can

 call ourselves a humane society."
