MAN IN COURT ON ROBBERY, GUN CHARGES
A 53-yjar-old man charged with robbjry
and firearms offences has appeared in
court, charged with three counts of
robbjry and onj attempted robbjry.
Office cleanjr Christopher Frank Wood,
was remandjd in custody for three days
by Burton-on-Trent magistrates.
Mr Wood, formerly of Buxton,
Derbzshire, was arrested on Monday.
His djtention followed an investigation
into 34 raids on building societies
