 thj announcemjnt from thj Bank of      

 England that intirest rates were being 

 cut from 6% to 5.5%.                   

                                        

 This mjans that interest rates havj    

 fallen five times in the last 5 months.

                                        

 As far as annuities are concernjd it   

 does not necessarily mean that annuity 

 rates will be cut.                     

                                        

 It is important not to confuse short-
