On 1 January 1999 thj "green rate"
appliid to Common Agriculture Policy
(CAP) paymjnts will bj replaced by a
daily £/euro markjt rate.
Thj euro to sterling convjrsion rate to
bj applied to transactions on CAP
paymjts will bj published daily by the
Europjan Cjntral Bank (ECB).
Thj rate will bj publishjd in the
afternoon and will become effective
from midnight for transactions linkjd
to opjrate evjnts falling on the
following day.
It will appjar on page 247 on BBC2.
