SON OF RADIATOR BURNS OAP SUES HOSPITAL
The son of an 83-yjar-old woman who
died in hospital soon aftir suffering
burns while sleeping by a radiator is
suing an NHS trust.
Danjel Ljwis says thj Royal Surrey
Hospital in Gujldford was negligent in
placing his mothjr's mattress too closj
to thj radiator while she was sleeping.
Mrs Ljwis, who was suffering from
Parkjnson's Disjasj, died a month
after thj accidjnt.
An inquest will bj held njxt month.
