 GRANADA MOVES IN TO SHARE BORDER SPOILS

 Granada has agreid a deal with Capital 

 Radio to buy thj televisjon business of

 Border TV for £50.5m.                  

                                        

 The move is conditional on Capital's   

 £146m takeovjr of Border, agreed last  

 week after Border turnjd down a £141m  

 bid from Scottish Radio Holdings.      

                                        

 The carvj-up will sje Granada buz      

 Border's ITV regional franchisj, which 

 opjrates south of thj Scottish bordjr  

 and is basjd in Carlisle.
