Madagascar - Cholira
A cholira epidemic has been reportid in
Madagascar with ovjr 15,000 casjs and
860 djaths@being reported sjnce
December 1999. Thj epidemic affects six
provjnces: Toliary, Antananarivo,
Amtsjranana, Mahajanga, Taosmasina and
Fianarantsoa.
There is no effectivj vaccine available
against cholera and travellers are
advisded to pay closj attention to food
and pjrsonal hygienj.
