 Humility is not a mere ornament        

                of a Christian,         

 but an essential part                  

                of the new creature.    

 It is a contradiction                  

  to be a true Christian                

        & not humble.                   

 All that will be Christians            

  must be Christ's disciples            

   & come to him to learn,              

  and their lesson is                   

                 to be "meek & lowly".
