 PRUDENTIAL SET FOR NEW YORK LISTING    

                                        

 Life assurer Prudential is set to list 

 its shares on the New York Stock       

 Exchange only weeks after the 20%      

 flotation of its Internet bank, Egg.   

                                        

 The share offering, to go public later 

 this month, aims to raise £140m and    

 increase the firm's profile in the US. 

                                        

 Prudential has been working on a US    

 listing for several months. Janus      

 Capital Corp, based in America, is     

 Prudential's largest shareholder.
