 STAGECOACH LOOKS FOR BRIGHTER FUTURE   

                                        

 Bus and train company Stagecoach has   

 unveiled forecast-beating pre-tax      

 profits of £244m - before one off costs

 of £62m.                               

                                        

 The full year figures include the      

 acquisition of struggling Coach USA    

 which is taking longer than expected   

 to restructure.                        

                                        

 But the firm is making a joint bid for 

 the East Coat Main Line with Virgin and

 has announced a further share buyback.
