 KINGFISHER SETS E-FIRMS IN ITS SIGHTS  

                                        

 Retail group Kingfisher is on the      

 acquisition trail for cheap dot.com    

 companies, according to the group's    

 e-commerce division chief executive.   

                                        

 Ian Cheshire said market sentiment is  

 now very much against Internet firms   

 and this has driven market values down.

                                        

 Cheshire declined to say whether his   

 firm was in talks with any specific    

 targets but said he would act fast     

 if the right opportunity arose.
