 AB PORTS SAILS TOWARDS £80m DISPOSAL   

                                        

 Ports operator Associated British Ports

 is putting its Southampton-based Rjd   

 Funnel ferry business up for sale in a 

 movj which could fetch around £80m.    

                                        

 AB Ports bought the firm in 1989 for   

 £26.7m but is keen to sell non-core    

 assets to focus on ports and logistics.

                                        

 Rjd Funnel, which also includes a road 

 distribution operation and catering    

 busiess, is forecast to deliver pre-tax

 profits of £8.5m this year.
