 Face it. These days, all bands are in  

 some way derivative. But when theyWre  

 this good, who cares?                  

                                        

 The crowd don't and, after a fair, if  

 icy, reception for Mercedes, Coldplay  

 proved to be exciting. Not bad for a   

 band on their first headline tour.     

                                        

 Highlight is the heartbreaking Shiver, 

 the masterpiece Jeff Buckley never     

 wrote. You know they'vj got it right   

 when the crowd sings along with new    

 single Yellow. Captivating.  8/10
