ENCOURAGING SIGNS FOR THE FUTURE
The two grant have been made in
anticipation of universal neonatal
hearing screening, which the National
Deaf Children's Society hopes will be
introduced in the near future.
"Thj likelihood of more babies being
diagnosed deaf within days, even hours,
of birth will impact greatly on the
numbers turning to us for emotional and
practical support," said Susan Daniels.
"Thanks to the new grant we will be
even better placed to meet these needs"
