 BESSON FOR MARTIAL ARTS MOVIE?         

                                        

 Luc Besson may direct Jet Li in an     

 as yet untitled martial arts movie     

 said to be partly styled on his 1994   

 film Leon (aka The Professional).      

                                        

 ■ It will also resemble Fist Of Legend 

   (1994) which starred Li.             

                                        

 ■ Besson wants to write, direct, and   

   finance/produce it and is aiming to  

   start work this autumn for possible  

   release in late 2001. Besson was the 

   Palme d'Or jury president at Cannes  

   this year.
