SCHOOL GROUNDS VITAL IN STRESS BATTLE
Playgrounds are great stress busters,
says educational psychologist Robert
Stratford, of Southampton University.
Dr Stratford said: "Outside play is
vital to children's social and
emotional well being.
"With opportunities for play outside
now limited around the home, school
grounds are increasingly where
emotional literacy is developed and
anger managed."
