 MEASURES TO SAVE DOLPHINS TOO LATE?    

                                        

 The Government is to spend £500,000 to 

 study the damage done to marine life - 

 including the dolphin - by trawling.   

                                        

 The common dolphin and other species   

 are being "pushed to thj edge of       

 extinction," say the Whale and Dolphin 

 Conservation Society.                  

                                        

 The harbour porpoise is one species    

 already virtually extinct in the south 

 say WDCS, and there's no more time to  

 waste on lengthy research.
