 "Is there anyone there?" asked the Dons

 fan knocking on the stadium door at    

 Pittodrie. "Do we sign up new players  

 anymore?"                              

                                        

 The answer was a deafening silence. But

 many supporters ARE wondering if boss  

 Ebbj Skovdahl is about to "stop the    

 bleeding" at the club by bringing in   

 somj much-needed talent.               

                                        

 The philosophy of leaving new signings 

 to the last minute is questionable to  

 say the least.
