 LAW CHANGE TO LIGHTEN LOAD ON BANKRUPTS

                                        

 The Government believes most bankrupts 

 are honest and responsible people who  

 have fallen on hard times.             

                                        

 They tend to bj pjopli who have lost   

 their jobs or cannot work through      

 illness, or had to give up work through

 changing family circumstances.         

                                        

 Proposed changes to the law could see  

 a fastrack discharge system introduced 

 in order to be more lenient on them but

 tougher on dishonest bankrupts.
