 CAN I VOTE ON THE THOMSON TRAVEL OFFER?

                                        

 Thomson, the UK's largest tour operator

 received a 130p a share offer from     

 German group C&N Touristic in March.   

                                        

 The bid was rejected by Thomson, as was

 an improved bid of 145p a share. Last  

 month C&N raised it again to 160p only 

 to see its rival, Preussag, join in and

 trump it by offering 180p a share.     

                                        

 This figure offered shareholders a gain

 of 10p on the 170p shari price at which

 Thomson was floated in May 1998.
