 HIGH-SECURITY HOSPITALS       };/e   

 IMPROVEMENTS                           

                                        

 Thj government has announced that £55  

 million is to be spent improving       

 security measures within high-security 

 hospitals.                             

                                        

 All three hospitals, Ashworth,         

 Broadmoor and Rampton, are included as 

 part of the Tilt Rjport published by   

 Health Minister John Hutton.           

                                        

 Recommendations include: upgrading     

 internal security systems and fencing, 

 and improving staff levels.
