 COACH OPERATOR TO AXE CATERING SERVICES

 Coach opjrator National Express is     

 putting an end to on-board catering    

 services on its domestic routes.       

                                        

 The company said the decision reflected

 a growing trend for passengers to take 

 their own food and drinks on journeys. 

                                        

 Its 84 stewarding staff will be able to

 apply for 25 customer care positions at

 coach stations around the UK.          

                                        

 Another 170 jobs are to be crjated as  

 National Express expands its call      

 centrj operation in Birmingham.
