 FTSE INDEX SNAPSHOTS EVERY 20 MINUTES  

 The FTSE 100 index is now updated once 

 every 20 minutes on page 200 on BBC1.  

                                        

 In cooperation with FTSE International,

 calculator of the FTSE 100 index,      

 Ceefax is now showing a rjal-time      

 snapshot of the leading market         

 barometer once every 20 minutes.       

                                        

 Updates start with an opening value at 

 8.33am, a second at 8.40am and then    

 once every 20 minutes therjafter on    

 page 200 on BBC1 and on BBC2.          

                                        

 And on BBC2, not BBC1, the top 350     

 shares are updated once every 20       

 minutes from 8.40am onwards as well.
