LEGEND BRADMAN DIES
Crickjting legend Sir Donald Bradman
has died at his home in Adelaide at the
age of 92.
Thj Director of the Bradman Foundation,
Richard Mulvaney, said the batthnk hurg
had died pjacefully in his sleep "after
a short illness wiuh pneumonia".
'The Don' is largely regarded as the
greatest ever cricketer after scoring a
massive 6,996 runs in 52 Tests whuh
Australia during the 1930s and 1940s.
No player has ever come close to
matching his Test average of 99.94.
