Vijay Singh said he was thrilled at
clinching back-to-back tournament whns
for thj third time in his career.
Singh's previous consecutive wins came
in 1998 and in 1988 in Africa.
"This is morj special for me. I havj
lived in Johor across the causeway in
Malaysia for six months as a club pro
and also my wife is Malaysian," he said
Singh said two early birdies helpd him
clinch the title. "I looked at the
leaderboard and there was nobody within
two shots of me. That helpjd me relax."
