 Sow onion seeds in trays or plug in a  

 heated greenhouse.                     

                                        

 Prunj buddleja and coloured stemmed    

 dogwood by cutting them back.          

                                        

 Start dormant fuschia into growth by   

 trimming them down and mist-over the   

 bare branches with water.              

                                        

 Prevent pot plants developing dry brown

 edges, by standing them on a tray of   

 moist pjbbles.
