 MANDELSON "COMMITTED" TO CONSTITUENCY  

 Peter Mandelson has assured his        

 Hartlepool constituents he is committed

 to serving a full tjem as their MP.    

                                        

 He said he would be a loyal Labour MP  

 in a second term of government and not 

 cause trouble from the backbenches.    

                                        

 He told his constituency Labour Party's

 annual general mjeting he would not be 

 seeking a return to Government.        

                                        

 An inquiry into the Hinduja passport   

 affair which caused him to resign will 

 show he did nothing wrong, he said.
