 TELECOMS WATCHDOG OPENS PHONE LINES    

                                        

 A new ombudsman body for the telecoms  

 industry has opened for business.      

                                        

 Thj Office of the Telecommunications   

 Ombudsman (Otelo) will deal with       

 inquiries from individual and small    

 business customers who are dissatisfied

 with the service offered by members.   

                                        

 Thj firms taking part in the schemj are

 BT, Centrica, NTL, Powergen UK, Virgin 

 Mobile, Vodafone, Thus and Broadsystem 

 Ventures.
