 St John Ambulance volunteers don't just

 wait for disaster to strike. Thj       

 organisation's caring services aim to  

 tackle specific needs.                 

                                        

 It runs projects with thj young        

 disadvantaged, befriends the lonely    

 and lays on services likj respite care,

 transport and help for local groups.   

                                        

 There is the library seuvice for       

 hospitals and homes, plus the Mobile   

 Primary Health unit for the homeless.
