 disappointed to hear his stage version 

 of The Sound Of Music has had its May  

 opening scrappjd.                      

                                        

 Lloyd Wjbber is now looking for a      

 theatre bigger than the Victoria       

 Palace, whose capacity was too small to

 justify mounting production costs.     

                                        

 But Aida, thj new Disney musical by    

 Elton John and his long-term           

 collaborator Tim Rice, should transfeu 

 from Broadway some timj in 2003.
