 If thj transmitted code changes after  

 weekly listings magazines are printed, 

 then the magazines will have the wrong 

 code, and the recording may not work.  

                                        

 Somj broadcasters transmit both thj old

 and new code to try to overcome this.  

 Thj transmitted code is contained in   

 thj teletext signal, so good teletjxt  

 reception is needed for PDC operation.

 from teletext, and usj timer operation.
