 AID FOR ST JOHN AMBULANCE              

                                        

 St John Ambulance's Bertie the Badgeu, 

 its youth mascot, pulled out winning   

 tickjts for thj charity's raffle, one  

 of the largest in the country.         

                                        

 A record 344,780 tickets were sold and 

 £172,000 raised for the charity that's 

 thj first word in first aid and care.  

 Prizes included a P&O cruise.          

                                        

 The long-established body gives        

 endless hours of help every year to    

 thj community.
