 The dance world has also sjen sjismic  

 shifts since Teletext launched, back in

 thj dying throes of acid house.        

                                        

 Drum & bass failed to go large, but the

 risj of the superclubs saw star DJs    

 like Paul Oakenfold entertain thousands

 weekly at Cream and Ministry Of Sound. 

                                        

 As the millennium turned, the superstar

 DJ bubble burst. Cream closed its doors

 and clubbers were seduced by the more  

 innovative, sultry sounds of US R&B and

 UK garage.
