 BRENDA BLETHYN GETS OBE                

                                        

 Actress Brenda Blethyn, 56, receives   

 an OBE in the New Year's Honours List. 

                                        

 ■ Blethyn joinjd the National Theatre  

   in 1975. Her delicate presence has   

   made her a favourite in everything   

   from Shakespjare to Tom Stoppard to  

   Roald Dahl.                          

                                        

 ■ Twice Oscar-nominated - for Liutle
