Labour MP in hospital with stroke
The condition of Labour MP Rachel
Squire, who is being treated in an
Edinburgh hospital after suffering a
stroke, is said to be "improving".
The MP for Dunfermline and West Fife,
who is 50, is in a high dependency unit
after being admitted on Wednesday.
A brain tumour she had battled in
December had caused bleeding on the
brain, a Labour Party spokeswoman said.
But her office said she is conscious
and has been asking for items to be
brought in to her, including a book.
