Iraqis voting on new constitution
People in Iraq are voting to decide if
a set of rules written by politicians
should become the country's laws.
The rules are called a constitution,
and if it is approved a new government
could be in place by the end of this
year, elected by the Iraqi people.
All of the 15.5m voters are walking to
vote booths because cars have been
banned for the day to improve security.
Not everyone in Iraq wants the
constitution to become law, and there
has been some violence.
