 Kunitsyn falls to in-form Kiefer   3/3 

 Nicolas Kiefer brought local hope Igor 

 Kunitsyn's fine run to an end at the   

 Kremlin Cup with victory in their semi-

 final in Moscow.                       

                                        

 Russian qualifier Kunitsyn had         

 surprised everyone by reaching the last

 four but was no match for the          

 experienced Kiefer, who won 6-2 6-4.   

                                        

 Seventh seed Igor Andreev won the all- 

 Russian battle in the earlier semi     

 against Dmitry Tursunov.               

                                        

 Andreev fought back for a 5-7 7-5 6-2  

 win as he chases a third title of 2005.
