Howard denies targeting Wilkinson
Leicester head coach Pat Howard denied
Jonny Wilkinson had been targeted in
the 16-16 draw with Newcastle.
Howard said: "He is a 10 and you're not
supposed to give 10s a lot of room.
"He's their distributor, he's one of
their two kickers and he's going to get
some pressure on him, isn't he? Every
single bit of it was fine."
Howard added: "It definitely was a
frustrating day at the office. It is
disappointing but when we went down to
14 men it was a little bit of a farce."
