 DISASTERS EMERGENCY COMMITTEE          

 ASIA QUAKE APPEAL                      

                                        

 The Disasters Emergency Committee,     

 which represents thirteen leading      

 British aid agencies, has launched an  

 appeal on behalf of the survivors of   

 the earthquake which has devastated    

 large parts of northern Pakistan, India

 and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.     

                                        

 Funds are urgently needed to help      

 survivors of the disaster which
