Ferguson calm over Keane future
Boss Sir Alex Ferguson has said that
Manchester United are in no rush to
sort out captain Roy Keane's future.
Keane, 34, said in September he would
be "surprised" if he was offered a new
contract at Old Trafford, with his
current deal set to expire next summer.
"It is the same for everyone else, we
will assess it at the right time,"
Ferguson told the News of the World.
"Roy knows that and his agent knows
that. We were never going to negotiate
with Roy at this moment in time."
