Care home plan to be considered
It is hoped work on a multi-million
pound care home in a Derbyshire town
will get under way next spring.
The proposed development in Wirksworth
would provide a range of different care
services for people over 55.
The £5.4m complex is being built on the
grade-two listed Waltham House site and
will be made up of 43 apartments and
include communal facilities.
An application for planning permission
is expected to be submitted soon with
work possibly starting in May.
