 USA                                    

 The rain continues in the northeastern 

 states of the US. A band of heavy rain 

 has caused flooding in many areas.     

 Hartford, Connecticut, recorded 137mm  

 in just 12 hours, a lot more than what 

 is expected in a whole month.          

                                        

 RUSSIA                                 

 Parts of Russia have also had more than

 a months worth of rainfall recently.   

 Heavy showers swept through            

 the southwest region of Krasnodar. 34mm

 were recorded in 24 hours, just above  

 the October monthly average of 31mm.
