 Spotlight on Wallace and Gromit        

 A fire at the Aardman Animations       

 warehouse has destroyed Wallace and    

 Gromit models and props - just as they 

 enjoy success with their first movie.  

                                        

 They are unlikely heroes of the UK film

 industry - an eccentric inventor with a

 penchant for cheese and his smart,     

 silent dog. And both are made of clay. 

                                        

 In the past 15 years, the films have   

 won Aardman Animations two Oscars and  

 three Baftas.                          

                                        

 And in the process, Wallace and Gromit 

 have become some of the best-known and 

 best-loved stars to come out of the UK.
