 Hawkins rues missed opportunity    3/3 

 Beckenham's Barry Hawkins felt he had  

 his chances to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan  

 before going down 6-5 in the Grand Prix

 at Preston.                            

                                        

 "If I'd have got that black and gone   

 5-4, then it might have been different,

 but if you make one mistake Ronnie     

 clears up," said Hawkins.              

                                        

 "He said to me: 'Stick with it, you're 

 doing well'. I was feeling good after  

 I'd made the 145 break.                

                                        

 "It would have been nice to have got a 

 147 as well, but I played a bad shot."
