everyday situations and relationships;
training as a mediator can involve us
in working with and for our
communities, our workplaces, or our
schools; mediators can play a part in
health, education, or legal disputes,
and even has a role in the criminal
justice system.
As a process it looks beyond what
people want to what they need and why
they need it: in that way it searches
for common ground on which to build
positive change.
